Who Are We?

Knock Knock is a developer of frictionless games and technologies. We are a passionate team of game makers who believe that rapidly-developing frictionless technologies such as HTML5 and 5G will be a force of change in the gaming industry - leading to more viral user acquisition and new, instant social gameplay mechanics created by bypassing traditional app stores.

Knock Knock is headquartered in San Francisco with a studio in Toronto, and was founded by folks from Zynga, Jam City, Glu Mobile, MZ, N3twork, and Gameloft. We’ve raised a total of $6 million in funding, with March Capital Partners leading the Series A in August of 2019. Investors also include games specialists London Venture Partners, Raine Ventures, and Ludlow Ventures.

Game Engineer

What You Will Do: Launch multiple games per year: -Worldwide launch a game in 2020 -Potentially start another new project by the end of the year. -Build and own the development of a number of gameplay features and metagame systems. -Focus on front-end development, but open to doing some backend integration. -Support and iterate on successful games after launch. -Recruit other great engineers, mentor junior engineers. What You Need to Succeed: Are you able to do, or excited to learn, how to do the following? We are a fast-moving startup, so we need people who want to ship features without a lot of hand-holding from leadership. Experience shipping games or major game features. Languages: Experience or interest in learning Javascript and typescript. Familiarity with other HTML5 technologies are also nice to have. Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical. Qualities that will help you succeed: self-starter, smart, pragmatic, personable, communicative, responsible, flexible, and stress-resistant.

Front-end developer
